Family Home in Cellardyke

 

Cellardyke is a typical East Neuk coastal village, St Andrews is twenty minutes away by car, and there are a number of local golf courses and restaurants.

This category B-listed house is substantial, comfortable family home, with views over the Firth of Forth and May Island.

The property is close to the picturesque harbour and has a large terraced enclosed garden at the rear, with a patio area. It's an easy walk to the nearby restaurant and the local shops in Anstruther, and there's a safe children's play area nearby.

Accommodation

The entrance hall leads into the kitchen and a large, separate dining room. A door leads from here into a courtyard, with steps leading up to the furnished patio area, the summerhouse and the lawns.

On the middle floor are two double bedrooms. One has twin beds and en suite facilities, the other is a family room with a double bed, plus two original box beds in the traditional 'fisherman cottage' style: always a favourite with children! There is also a bright, spacious bathroom on this floor.

On the top floor is a large sitting room with sea views. Leading from here is the master bedroom, with full en suite facilities including a power shower. There is also a small scullery with a handy sink.

The tariff includes gas, gas, electricity, bed linen and towels.

Available from 3pm on the day of arrival.

Self Catering Weeks Available at Kirkton Barns Country House near St.Andrews

Kirkton Barns Country House also has a well furbished granny flat. The flat is on two levels with the lower level being a spacious living area with kitchenette and dining room. The upstairs is an open planned double bed with wardrobes and colour tv. Also upstairs is an en suite shower bathroom.

This small but spacious 'granny flat' is in a lovely countryside area just 15 minutes drive from St Andrews and 10 minutes from Dundee. It is a lovely location for a weeks holiday break if you are touring North East Fife and is great for either University students or Lecturers who are either studying of lecturing at the University.

A chauffeur service is available for tennants or guests who wish to use the flat and there is a main bus route to Dundee and St.Andrews just 2 minutes walk away. We will be happy to offer the flat out to students or lecturers over Winter periods from October to April if anyone is interested, although we can do weekly lets as well for the above or parents of students who wish to stay for longer breaks.
